Ubuntu – appending graphics driver

Hello

Can I have some suggestions to my question below -

I actually got a laptop with an outer screen.

I have been trying but no success in having the laptop monitor to toggle off during sessions.

I ascertained for a fact that I have an Intel Pentium M CPU 1.2 GHz and an Intel GM 828521 Graphic Controller – a chip and not card.

Wasn’t really aware of that info earlier.

Now can some one please tell me as to how the driver can be added manually so that I can work the monitors - Ubuntu 11.04.
