I am trying to install translate-toolkit from source (since there is no
ubuntu package, and debian package misses dependencies) and I get an
error. What should I do next? I know nothing about Python...

ziogelis77 at pieva:~/translate-toolkit-0.8rc2$ sudo ./setup.py install
running install
error: invalid Python installation: unable to open
/usr/lib/python2.4/config/Makefile (No such file or directory)
ziogelis77 at pieva:~/translate-toolkit-0.8rc2$

any ideas?

I solved the problem by installing python2.4-dev package.

  • You can enable syntax highlighting of source code with the following tags: <code>, <blockcode>, <c>, <cpp>, <drupal5>, <drupal6>, <java>, <javascript>, <php>, <python>, <ruby>. Beside the tag style "<foo>" it is also possible to use "[foo]". PHP source code can also be enclosed in <?php ... ?> or <% ... %>.
