Drupal + Ubercart or Drupal + Magento?

I am doing some research into shopping carts combined with drupal. I found and tested those two alternatives - ubercart and magento. And of course both combinations have their pluses and minuses.
The customer I want to use the shopping cart for has 1000+ products.
If you used any of those combination in production for larger sites, could you please share your experience? In am interested in robustness, ease of chancing the product catalog, mass update to do seasonal sales, ease of upgrading, etc.
